Risk warning

In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Trading financial markets carries a high risk of capital loss. Only invest money you can afford to lose in full.
Risk of capital loss
The value of your account can fall as well as rise. You may lose all or part of the capital deposited. According to data published by brokers, a majority of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs.
Leverage
The strategy trades gold (XAUUSD) through leveraged products. Leverage amplifies gains and losses alike: a limited price movement can result in a significant loss relative to the capital committed. The level of leverage depends on the broker and the regulatory entity with which your account is opened.
No guarantee
No performance is guaranteed. Neither Imperium Capital nor the partner brokers guarantee the preservation of capital or the achievement of any return.
Past performance
Past performance does not predict future performance. The results presented are expressed gross, before the performance fee. The data currently displayed on the site is illustrative, pending the publication of real results. The results of an individual account may differ depending on the entry date, amount, broker, fees and execution conditions.
Drawdown risk
Every strategy goes through declining phases. The maximum historical drawdown is not a limit: a larger future decline is possible.
Broker-related risks
- Execution conditions: spread, slippage, liquidity, in particular during economic announcements or at market open.
- Counterparty and broker solvency risk. The level of fund protection (segregation, compensation scheme) depends on the regulatory entity.
- Deposit and withdrawal terms and processing times specific to the broker.
Technical risks
An algorithmic strategy depends on IT infrastructure: servers, connections, trading platforms and the PAMM module. An outage, a connection interruption, a software error or an incident at the broker can prevent execution, delay a close-out or produce a result different from the one expected.
Model risk
A strategy built and tested on historical data may stop working if market conditions change durably.
